5.56 x 45 Accuracy Test
“CALIBER” Magazine, had an article in the September 2003 edition on tests conducted with various ammunition in comparison to BARNAUL.
The Russian factory IZHMASH, produced a new bolt action rifle called BARS 4-1. At the lunch of the new weapon, testes were conducted with S+B, Norma and BARNAUL ammunition to determine accuracy and over-all performance.
The tests were conducted at a shooting range, outside temperature was +19 C, shooting was conducted from a sitting position, firing groups of 5 rounds at a range of 75 metres.
The results of the test proved conclusively, that BARNAUL 5.56 x 45 (.223Rem) out –preformed S+B and Norma ammunition.
